A Fun Retro Mining Game. With Fun Mechanics.
This game was made for th Pirate Jam 15. MY FIRST EVER GAME JAM SUBMISSIOOOOOON!!!!!!!
Game Summary:
Gold Rush is a mining game in wich you have to survive and get as many points as you can in the given 3 minutes. In the game you get score by mining different ores (copper: 100, iron: 200 and gold:1000) also you can find the philosopher’s stone which turns every ore into gold.
Inspiration:
This game was heavily inspired by games like spelunky. (Suprise Suprise)The art of the game was also affected by pixel survival 2. (And it was also inspired by Harry Potter a bit because i didn't know which color to make the philosopher's stone so i stole their color idea)

I thought the game was fun! The text was a little hard to read and it could perhaps use an intro level, but overall pretty good!
Yeah i should have added a tutorial but im going to have to leave it like this because im leaving for a camp so i cannot do anything new. But thanks for playing my game
The game is fun! I find the smallest pixelated type a bit hard to read personally, and a more active tutorial rather than the book descriptions would make it great. Also, don't forget the GDD has to be a google doc for the jam!
